Spain, Ukraine leaders condemn Iranian attacks in calls with Saudi Crown Prince

RIYADH — Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received separate phone calls from Pedro Sánchez and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who condemned the Iranian attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and expressed solidarity with the Kingdom.During the call with Sánchez, the Spanish prime minister denounced the Iranian attacks against the Kingdom and reaffirmed Spain’s rejection of any actions threatening Saudi Arabia’s security and sovereignty.Sánchez also stressed Spain’s full support for all measures that contribute to safeguarding the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.In a separate call, Ukrainian President Zelensky condemned the Iranian attacks on Saudi Arabia and affirmed his country’s solidarity with the Kingdom in the steps it takes to protect its territory.The two sides also discussed the ongoing military escalation in the region and its implications for regional and international security and peace.
