Saudi Arabia shift March training camp from Doha to Jeddah, Serbia

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia national football team have moved their upcoming preparatory camp during the March FIFA international window from Doha to Jeddah and Serbia, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation announced.The training camp, initially scheduled to take place in the Qatari capital from March 23 to 31, will now be held partly in Jeddah before continuing in Serbia as part of the national team’s preparations.The federation also expressed appreciation to the Qatar Football Association for its initiative to organize a football festival during the international break, noting that such gatherings contribute to the development of the game and enhance national teams’ preparation programs.As part of the camp schedule, Saudi Arabia will host Egypt national football team in a friendly match on March 27.The Green Falcons will then travel to Belgrade to face Serbia national football team on March 31.The camp forms part of Saudi Arabia’s preparations for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the technical and administrative staff working to align the national team’s program with domestic competitions and international commitments to ensure optimal readiness.Saudi Arabia have been drawn in Group H of the 2026 World Cup alongside Spain national football team, Uruguay national football team and Cape Verde national football team.
