RIYADH — King Khalid International Airport urged passengers traveling to destinations affected by current regional developments to check with their airlines for the latest flight updates before heading to the airport.In a travel alert issued early Sunday, the airport advised travelers to rely on official communication channels of both airlines and the airport for accurate information and assistance.The advisory comes amid ongoing regional tensions that have disrupted aviation operations and led to flight adjustments across several Middle Eastern countries.Passengers were also encouraged to verify their flight status directly with airlines to avoid potential delays or changes before leaving for the airport.Meanwhile, the Saudi Ministry of Defense said air defenses intercepted and destroyed seven drones east of Riyadh, according to spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki.
