Over 1 million Qur’ans provided for Ramadan worshippers at Two Holy Mosques

MAKKAH — The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has intensified efforts to provide copies of the Holy Qur’an to visitors during Ramadan, with more than one million copies available across the two holy mosques.The authority said the Qur’ans, printed by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an, have been carefully distributed throughout prayer areas to ensure easy access for worshippers and pilgrims.Field teams are working around the clock to organize, maintain, and replenish the copies to ensure they remain readily available.The initiative comes as part of an integrated system of services provided to visitors during Ramadan, particularly during the last ten days, which witness a significant increase in the number of worshippers and Umrah performers.The authority emphasized that providing Qur’ans is a core service supported by the Kingdom’s leadership to facilitate recitation and reflection in a spiritually enriching environment.Specialized teams continue to oversee distribution, organization, and replacement of Qur’ans as needed to ensure continuous availability.The efforts reflect Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to serving the Two Holy Mosques and enhancing the spiritual experience of worshippers.
