RIYADH — Saudi Civil Defense said a military projectile struck a residential site belonging to a maintenance and cleaning company in Al‐Kharj on Sunday, leaving two people dead and 12 others injured.Civil Defense spokesperson said the incident occurred on Sunday when the projectile hit the residential compound, causing material damage.The two fatalities were residents of Indian and Bangladeshi nationalities, while the injured included 12 Bangladeshi residents.Authorities said emergency teams responded immediately and implemented the approved procedures for such incidents.The spokesperson stressed that attempts to target civilian facilities constitute a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
