Iraqi interior minister reaffirms commitment to Saudi Arabia’s security

RIYADH — Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif received a phone call from Iraq’s Interior Minister Lt. Gen. Abdul Amir Kamel Al-Shammari to discuss the latest regional developments and security updates.During the call, the Iraqi minister reaffirmed Iraq’s commitment to the security and safety of Saudi Arabia.He also expressed appreciation for the Kingdom’s efforts in facilitating the departure of Iraqi citizens affected by current developments, enabling their smooth transit through Saudi Arabia from Gulf countries by air and land.Al-Shammari praised the measures taken by the Kingdom, highlighting the strong fraternal ties between the two countries.
