MAKKAH — The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has reaffirmed that priority registration for this year’s Hajj will remain available until the end of Shawwal for aspiring pilgrims, who have not previously performed the pilgrimage. Registration will subsequently open to other eligible applicants, subject to availability, including those accompanied by a mahram (male guardian). The ministry clarified that registration requirements stipulate a minimum age of 15 years and compliance with approved health regulations. Expatriates must hold a valid residency permit (iqama), with priority accorded to those whose iqamas were issued more than one year ago. The second phase of registration procedures for domestic pilgrims, covering seats allocated to citizens and expatriates through approved companies, will commence on Wednesday. This phase involves the display of available packages via the “Nusk” app and the official Ministry of Hajj website, enabling prospective pilgrims to review the options, select the package most suited to their needs, and proceed with reserving their allocated seats. The available packages are expected to include upgraded camps, hospitality camps, the Six Towers, and the Kidana Towers. The ministry emphasized that all contracting procedures are conducted exclusively through licensed companies listed on the “Nusk” app. Applicants must complete the registration process personally by creating an account, entering the required information, verifying eligibility, selecting the appropriate package, and remitting payment through the SADAD payment system to secure their Hajj permit.
