Defense minister conveys leadership praise for armed forces’ role in confronting Iranian aggression

RIYADH — Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman conveyed the appreciation of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the heroic role of the Kingdom’s armed forces in defending the country, safeguarding its security and stability, and confronting the unjustified Iranian aggression.The remarks came after Prince Khalid performed Eid Al-Fitr prayers in Riyadh on Friday alongside Ministry of Defense personnel, including senior civilian and military officials, officers and non-commissioned officers.Following the prayers, he met with ministry leaders and senior officials via video call, extending Eid greetings and conveying the leadership’s congratulations and appreciation for their efforts.Prince Khalid prayed that the occasion would return with continued blessings and prosperity, and that the Kingdom would remain secure and stable under its leadership, while wishing success to all those serving in defense of the nation.
